Aaron Carter was sadly found dead in the bathtub of his home in Lancaster, California on Saturday.
The 34-year-old singer/rapper shared one final heartbreaking post on social media before his death.
Carter gained his fame in his teens, becoming a pop sensation in the 90s. His older brother being Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys, gave him an even smoother path to fame.
He then went on to star in the Nickelodeon hit show, All That.
Sadly, despite earning more than most teens, Carter signed for bankruptcy in 2013. He also suffered with addiction, going to rehab in 2017 following an arrest for a DUI and drug possession.
Carter also sadly suffered with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, telling TMZ:
“The official diagnosis is that I suffer from multiple personality disorder, schizophrenia, acute anxiety, and manic depression,”
The rappers final few social media posts are heartbreaking. Sharing the music video for a song he collaborated with rapper Check the Star, Carter can be heard rapping “I’ll be gone but its not for long”.
