Aaron Carter’s fiancée called the cops to “keep the peace” while moving her things out of his house.

The singer was sadly found dead in the bathtub of his home in Lancaster, California on Saturday.

TMZ reported that Melanie Martin rang the L.A. County Sheriff’s department to ensure that the moving process went as smoothly as possible and deputies told the publication that they were there to “keep the peace”.

It’s not entirely clear why Martin felt she needed law enforcement there but a few people were seen in the house with her to move items out, as well as moving trucks parked outside.

The pair have a 11-month old son together named Prince. Melanie told People:

“My heart is completely broken over the passing of my fiancé Aaron. I knew he was struggling, and i tried everything to help him.”

Carter gained his fame in his teens, becoming a pop sensation in the 90s. His older brother being Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys, gave him an even smoother path to fame.

He then went on to star in the Nickelodeon hit show, All That.

Sadly, despite earning more than most teens, Carter signed for bankruptcy in 2013. He also suffered with addiction, going to rehab in 2017 following an arrest for a DUI and drug possession.

Carter also sadly suffered with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, telling TMZ:

“The official diagnosis is that I suffer from multiple personality disorder, schizophrenia, acute anxiety, and manic depression,”

The 34-year-olds final few social media posts are heartbreaking.
