Adam Sandler has supported his “buddy” Chris Rock after the Will Smith incident.
Will Smith very publicly slapped Chris Rock after the comedian compared Will’s Wife, Jada Pinkett Smith to G.I Jane, which was highly inappropriate and insensitive as Jada has been very open about her hair loss journey due to alopecia, which Rock was supposedly unaware of.
Sander and Rock have a close working relationship, having worked together in films such as Grown-Ups and The Week Of.
Now, Sandler has taken to Twitter to voice his support for his fellow colleague:

Smith apologized to Rock via Instagram after the ordeal, forgetting to mention the comedian in his initial apology during the Academy Awards.
With so much debate and analysis over the event, conspiracy theorists are now suggesting that the entire thing was staged – with some even saying it appears Rock was wearing a cheek pad in preparation for the slap.
