A video has emerged of a an adult disney fan hugging Goofy and people have mixed views.
27-year-old Sarah Rachul went on vacation to Disneyland Orlando on 3 May and later uploaded footage of herself meeting and hugging Goofy, to her TikTok page.
In the clip, we see Rachul visibly excited to see Goofy, clasping her hands to her chest and jumping up and down on the spot, seemingly almost in tears when she sees the character. She runs up to the actor and gives him a huge hug.

In her caption, the 27-year old wrote:

In spite of this heart wrenching explanation, people have still criticised Rachul for her “over excitement” with some responding:
“I thought this was a joke at first”,
“Ohh k yeah im fine with disney adults but some of y’all grown people need to remember there’s another adult in the costume lol [sic].”
However, some praised the 27-year-old, with one person – who actually claimed they worked at the parks as a Disney character, saying:
‘DISNEY CHARACTER PERFORMER HERE!! THIS is the reason why we go to work every day♥️This performer LOVED every bit of this, so happy for you love♥️’
