Amber Heard Accused Johnny Depp of Physical Abuse Again During Explosive Interview

Amber Heard has once again accused Johnny Depp of physical abuse during an explosive sit-down interview.

Depp launched a defamation lawsuit for $50 million against his ex wife in 2019 after the Aquaman star described herself as a victim of domestic abuse in a 2018 article she penned in The Washington Post.

Heard then countersued for $100 million as she claimed Depp’s legal team started a “smear campaign” against her.

Depp won the legal battle and the Aquaman star has been ordered by the court to pay more than $8 million to Depp in damages.

Heard had her first sit-down interview since losing in court. She spoke to Savannah Guthrie in a pre-recorded interview for Today. It will be shown in full on Dateline on Friday evening.

Heard told Guthrie:

“I actually understand. He’s a beloved character and people feel they know him. He’s a fantastic actor.”

“I don’t care what one thinks about me or what judgments you want to make about what happened in the privacy of my own home, in my marriage, behind closed doors,”

“I don’t presume the average person should know those things. And so I don’t take it personally.”

“But even somebody who is sure I’m deserving of all this hate and vitriol, even if you think that I’m lying, you still couldn’t look me in the eye and tell me that you think on social media there’s been a fair representation. You cannot tell me that you think that this has been fair.”

Heard was asked if it was false when the actor claimed on the stand that he ‘never hit her’. Heard claimed:

‘Yes it is,’

The actress added that she will:

‘stand by every word of her testimony… until the day she dies’

Heard released a written statement shortly after the jury’s verdict.
