Amber Heard Accused of Editing Photos That Show Alleged Abuse from Johnny Depp

Amber Heard has been accused of editing her photographs that show the alleged abuse from Johnny Depp.

Depp launched a defamation lawsuit against Heard in 2019, after the Aquaman star described herself as a victim of domestic abuse in a 2018 article she penned in The Washington Post. The trial started Monday 11 April in Fairfax, Virginia.

Depp’s attorney, Camille Vasquez claimed that photographs Heard produced as evidence of alleged abuse were edited in order to make her face appear “more red”.

On 17 May, Vasquez grilled Heard on the stand about the validity of her evidence. See below:

Depp’s side asked:

“Isn’t it true that you edited this photograph? That you enhanced one to make it look more red?”

To which, the Aquaman actress replied:

“No, that is not true.”

The lawyer continued, claiming that Officer Zeins, who saw Heard at the time of the alleged injury, did not see anything:

“You sat in this courtroom while officer Zeins saw you, and testified that he didn’t see any injuries on your face.”

To which Heard replied:

“Officer said she didn’t considered my red puffy face injured. That was her testimony in the UK.”

Vasquez said:

“That’s just inconvenient for you, isn’t is Ms. Heard. The other officer also said he saw no injuries on your face on May 21, 2016.”
