Amber Heard admitted she never really loved her ex-boyfriend Elon Musk in messages that were read out in court.
Johnny Depp launched a defamation lawsuit against ex-wife Amber Heard in 2019, after the Aquaman star described herself as a victim of domestic abuse in a 2018 article she penned in The Washington Post. The trial began Monday 11 April in Fairfax, Virginia.
After heard split from the Pirates of the Caribbean actor, she dated tech billionaire Elon Musk.
A message exchange from August 2017 between Heard and her former talent agent Christian Carino was read out in court not long after the news of the billionaire and actresses’ break-up went public.
One message from Heard said:
“Dealing with breakup. I hate when things go public. C, I’m so sad.”
To which her then talent agent replied:
“You weren’t in love with him, and you told me a thousand times you were just filling space.”
Heard responded:
“I know, but I wanted time to grieve and recover in my own time.”
