Amber Heard has reportedly challenged her ex husband to also do a TV interview with Savannah Guthrie “if he has a problem” with her allegations of assault.
The actress did her own tell-all interview after her loss in court.
Depp launched a defamation lawsuit for $50 million against Heard in 2019 after the Aquaman star described herself as a victim of domestic abuse in a 2018 article she penned in The Washington Post.
Heard then countersued for $100 million as she claimed Depp’s legal team started a “smear campaign” against her.
Depp won the legal battle and the Aquaman star has been ordered by the court to pay more than $8 million to Depp in damages.
In her one-hour long interview which was shown on Today, the 36-year-old claimed:
“To my dying day [I] will stand by every word of my testimony.”
“…I love him. I loved him with all my heart. I have no bad feelings or ill will toward him at all.”
The Aquaman star issued an ultimatum to Depp through a spokesperson, merely hours before her interview went live.
Heard told The Daily Mail:
“If Mr. Depp or his team have a problem with this, we recommend that Johnny himself sit down with Savannah Guthrie for an hour and answer all her questions,”
