Amber Heard has allegedly ‘received a marriage proposal’ after her loss in the courtroom with Johnny Depp, News Online 72hr reported.
Depp launched a defamation lawsuit for $50 million against Heard in 2019, after the Aquaman star described herself as a victim of domestic abuse in a 2018 article she penned in The Washington Post.
Heard then countersued for $100 million as she claimed Depp’s legal team started a “smear campaign” against her.
The Aquaman star has been ordered by the court to pay more than $8 million to Depp in damages.
The 36-year-old reportedly received a voice note via Instagram from a Saudi Arabian man, asking for her hand in marriage.
Translated into English, the note said:
“Amber, since all doors are closing on you, you have no one except me to take care of you. I’ve noticed that some people hate and b*lly you, therefore, I decided to marry you.
“May Allah bless us both. You are a blessing, but people don’t appreciate that.”
“I am better than that old man.”
Heard’s lawyer, Elaine Bredehoft did an interview with a TV morning show shortly after the verdict announcement where she revealed what the actress said immediately following the jury’s decision.
