Amber Heard has released ‘years’ of notes from her therapist that she claims prove that Johnny Depp abused her.
Depp launched a defamation lawsuit for $50 million against his ex wife in 2019 after the Aquaman star described herself as a victim of domestic abuse in a 2018 article she penned in The Washington Post.
Heard then countersued for $100 million as she claimed Depp’s legal team started a “smear campaign” against her.
Depp won the legal battle and the Aquaman star has been ordered by the court to pay more than $8 million to Depp in damages.
Heard had her first sit-down interview following the trial on Today with Savannah Guthrie. Watch part one below:

In her interview, Heard says that she released a ‘binder full’ of her therapists’ notes. The 35-year-old claims that there is fresh evidence proving that Depp physically and sexually abused her in these notes.
The actress said she has ‘years’ worth of notes detailing incidents where Depp ‘hit her, threw her against a wall, and threatened to kill her’.
These notes were dismissed as ‘hearsay’ by Judge Penney Azcarate in the defamation case, however.
