Amber Heard’s former nurse, Erin Falati, has testified about photos the actress sent to her.
Johnny Depp launched a defamation lawsuit against Heard in 2019, after the Aquaman star described herself as a victim of domestic abuse in a 2018 article she penned in The Washington Post. The trial began Monday 11 April in Fairfax, Virginia.
Screenshots of text messages sent by Heard to Falati were shown to the courtroom. In the messages were images of Heard’s reddened face.
When the former nurse was asked what she thought of the photos, she replied:
“I’m not an expert… I mean there’s colour on her face in different areas, I don’t know what’s what.”

Falati was asked if Heard had expressed a fear of her then husband with the nurse, she replied that she couldn’t remember.
She said she did remember a general ‘discord’ between the couple and that they had a tumultuous pattern of disagreement and reconciliation.
The nurse was asked about a medical note she had made detailing a time when she saw Heard bleeding from her lip. Falati told the court Heard claimed this was a result of a fight with Depp.
The actress also claimed she had lost clumps of hair in the fight, but when she was examined, no sign of hair loss was found.
