Arizona State University have confirmed Kyle Rittenhouse is no longer enrolled at the University.

After being found not guilty of homicide, Rittenhouse stated he wanted to study nursing at Arizona State University and wanted to be treated like any other student.

NewsNation asked if the teenager had “hopes to be on campus as any other student would be,” and he replied “yes.”

“And do you think that’s going to be doable?” he was asked.

“I hope so because I just want to be a normal 18-year-old college student trying to better my future and get into a career in nursing,” Rittenhouse said.

Students at the university did not taken kindly to Rittenhouse studying there, and planned a rally to stop it from happening.

The rally was planned for December 1st, and students made a list of demands.

The group’s demands were listed as:

  1. Withdraw Kyle Rittenhouse from ASU.

  2. Release a statement against white supremacy and racist murderer Kyle Rittenhouse.

  3. Reaffirm support for the multicultural center on campus as a space safe from white supremacy.

  4. Redirect funding from ASU PD to support the multicultural center and establishment of a CAARE center on campus.

The university have now confirmed he is not currently enrolled because he had only registered for a non-degree online course that he didn’t complete.

ASU spokesperson Jay Thorne said in an email statement to The Arizona Republic:

“Our records show that he is not currently enrolled,”
