An attorney for a man who was partially paralyzed at a Travis Scott show has pointed the finger at the rapper.
Howard Hershenhorn told BuzzFeed News he was not surprised by the tragedy and that Scott’s ‘desire for chaos caused this horrific tragedy.’
Hershenhorn also pointed out that lyrics in Scott’s song ‘Stargazing’ encourages that behaviour.
The lyrics read:
“And it ain’t a mosh pit if it ain’t no injuries / I got ’em stage diving out the nosebleeds.”
Hershenhorn said:
“Make no mistake about it, his desire for chaos caused this horrific tragedy.”
“He’s now attempting to bolster his image by being remorseful on Twitter, but he should have thought about and learned a lesson from the consequences of his past misdeeds,”
Hershenhorn represents a young man named Kyle Green who claimed he was pushed from a balcony by a surging crowd at New York’s Terminal 5 venue in 2018.
Green is still in a wheelchair to this day.
In the 2018 concert, Scott encouraged fans to jump from a balcony, reassuring them that fans below would catch them.
“Don’t be scared. They’re going to catch you.”
