Australian TV host Karl Stefanovic has questioned if the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, had actually faked her tears during Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral.
The monarch passed away on September 8 and her state funeral took place on Monday 19 September.
7.7 billion people watched the ceremony on TV. Hundreds of people went to Windsor to pay their last respects to the iconic royal, including state heads, royal house staff and more.

The host implied that the photos of Markle wiping tears and even of seven-year-old Princess Charlotte crying during the service were false:
“There’s been lots of photos around and interpretations of photos and reading into photos [meanings] that may or may not be true,”
“There’s a couple of Meghan, um, with a tear running down her face – apparently – and also even one of Princess Charlotte that everyone was saying she was crying, and we don’t know if it was true or not.”
The Queen is now in her final resting place at King George VI Memorial Chapel.
