The cast of Back to the Future has had a heartwarming reunion nearly 40 years after the original film premiered.
The reunion took place at a fan convention and was documented by Lea Thompson, who played Lorraine Baines McFly in the trilogy.
The reunion photo shows Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, and Tom Wilson, who played Marty McFly, Dr. Emmett ‘Doc’ Brown, and Biff Tannen, respectively.
Despite the passing of time, the trio still looks as charming as they did in the beloved 1985 film.
Thompson took to social media to share her excitement about the reunion: “Wow, honestly had the best time today with my Back to the Future family. So many fun fan moments too and a llama.”
She also shared several moments from the day, including a video of her teasing Lloyd and another of her cuddling with Wilson. See below:
Fans were thrilled to see the cast reunite, with many expressing their love and gratitude in the comments section.
This recent reunion comes only months after Fox and Lloyd had another emotional reunion at a fan convention in October.
During the event, Fox treated fans to an air guitar version of Marty McFly’s iconic moves from the film’s ‘Johnny B. Goode’ scene. Afterward, he and Lloyd hugged and took questions from fans.
For many fans of the movies, seeing the stars of the beloved sci-fi classic reunite is a bittersweet moment.
It’s a reminder of the magic of the original film and its enduring impact on pop culture.
