Jackass legend Bam Margera has been released from hospital after his pneumonia prognosis.

The Jackass star posted a photo of himself with a friend and let fans know:

“I’m out! Thank you to my friends, family and you for the love, support and prayers.”

The 43-year-old was in a hospital in San Diego, battling pneumonia.

TMZ reported that the star had tested positive for the virus and was being cared for in the intensive care unit.

The skateboarder was one of the founders of Jackass, alongside Steve-O, Johnny Knoxville, Ryan Dunn and others.

Margera previously went missing from rehab earlier in the year.

Then a video surfaced online showing the star partying with a group of men, while the police and his family were searching for him.

He shares a son with his ex, Nikki Boyd, named Phoenix Wolf who is 4-years-old.

We wish him a speedy recovery.
