BBC One Cancels TV Schedule over Concern for Queen’s Health

The BBC has canceled its regularly scheduled programming for the day over concern for the Queen’s health.

Queen Elizabeth II has been put under medical supervision by her doctors following health concerns.

The BBC had to cut short its showing of ‘Bargain Hunt’ with the following message:

“Welcome to viewers on BBC One. We have had news from Buckingham Palace that the Queen is under medical supervision at Balmoral.”

The news has remained on air instead of returning to its regular programming.

The family are reportedly making their way to Balmoral now, where the 96-year-old had been spending her summer as usual, between August and September.

Buckingham Palace also released the following statement:

“Following further evaluation this morning, The Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision.

“The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral.”
