The cause of death of Brian Laundrie has finally been announced weeks after his body was found.
Laundrie’s remains were found in a Florida nature reserve last month after a huge manhunt.
His cause of death has now been confirmed as a gunshot wound to the head, and the death has been ruled as a suicide.
An attorney for the Laundrie family told CNN on Tuesday:
“Chris and Roberta Laundrie have been informed the cause of death was a gunshot wound to the head and the manner of death was suicide. Chris and Roberta are still mourning the loss of their son and are hopeful that these findings bring closure to both families.”
Internet sleuths have reacted to the cause of death announcement, and they have one question: where is the gun and where did it come from?
Where did the gun come from?

Probably from dad…that is my guess. I'm sure his parents knew what Brian's plans were.

Where’s the gun ?

I just asked that same question… Usually the weapon of choice if there is one for the suicide the decedent leaves it behind…

And it has sparked a number of conspiracies:
I need adults to understand that not all of the campsite findings and evidence were given to us, they rarely are nor will be, and just because we have not heard about a gun at the scene doesn't mean it was removed from it by the parents. It was likely there and found already

Why when he is a adult do people need to say it’s his dads. I mean we don’t know whose yet but why even say this crap

This is an ongoing story, we’ll bring more updates as they happen.
