Caitlyn Jenner, the Olympic champion and former stepfather to Kim Kardashian, has made startling claims about her former stepdaughter in an upcoming docuseries about the Kardashian family.

In the trailer for Sky’s “House of Kardashian,” Caitlyn, 73, asserts that Kim Kardashian had strategically planned her path to fame from the very beginning.

“Kimberly calculated from the beginning, ‘How do I become famous?'” Caitlyn states in the trailer. This revelation raises questions about Kim’s early aspirations and the steps she took to achieve fame.

The docuseries also includes commentary from Joe Francis, the founder of “Girls Gone Wild” and a close friend of the Kardashian family. He suggests that Kim Kardashian’s 2000s sex tape with her ex Ray J was “a means to an end,” implying that it was orchestrated to generate controversy and propel her to stardom.

The trailer provides a glimpse into the dynamics of the Kardashian family, with an unnamed narrator describing Kris Jenner’s desire “to be more than just a housewife,” and another voiceover declaring, “They ruined the world!” These ominous statements hint at the complexity of the Kardashian-Jenner clan’s influence on popular culture.

What sets “House of Kardashian” apart from previous Kardashian-focused shows like “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” and “The Kardashians” is the lack of editorial control by the family members themselves. This absence of control promises an explosive and candid exploration of their lives and controversies.

Caitlyn Jenner, who was married to Kris Jenner for 23 years before their divorce in 2014, participated in interviews for the docuseries. She expressed her pride in her children and stepchildren, acknowledging their ability to capture the world’s attention and maintain it over the years.

This isn’t the first time Caitlyn Jenner has openly discussed her family dynamics. Last year, during Kanye West’s public struggles, Caitlyn revealed on “The Pivot Podcast” that living with the rapper had been challenging for Kim Kardashian. She cited the difficulties Kim had faced with her previous partners, especially Kanye.

In 2019, Caitlyn also admitted to a five-year estrangement from her former stepdaughter Khloé Kardashian, stemming from their falling out over Caitlyn’s gender transition in 2015. Caitlyn reflected on their strained relationship on “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here,” expressing her confusion over Khloé’s lingering anger.

“House of Kardashian” is scheduled to air in the UK on October 8th on Sky Documentaries and the streaming service Now. With Caitlyn’s revelations and the promise of an unfiltered look at the Kardashian family, the docuseries is poised to offer viewers an intriguing and candid perspective on one of the world’s most famous families.
