Canadian TikTok star Megha Thakur has sadly died suddenly at the age of 21.
The influencer, who was from Brampton, Ontario, was best known for her body positive attitude and for encouraging her followers to have self confidence.
She had gained around 930k followers on the app.
Her parents broke the news on Tuesday, writing the following statement:
‘It is with heavy hearts we announce the light of our life, our kind, caring, and beautiful daughter, Megha Thakur, suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on 24 November 2022 in the early morning hours.
‘She loved her fans and would have wanted you to know of her passing. At this time, we request your blessings for Megha.
‘Your thoughts and prayers will be with her in her onward journey.’
