Chris Kattan has been hospitalized and has to undergo emergency surgery.
Sources close to the actor told TMZ that he was hit with a severe case of Streptococcus Pneumoniae – which is an extreme case of pneumonia.
The 52-year-old was then rushed to hospital and received emergency surgery which, thankfully, was successful.
It has been reported that, everything going well, he will be released on Friday.
Sadly, the comedian has had had to reschedule his show on Friday in Valparaiso, IN.
The actor/comedian had an 8-year run on SNL but was also in many movies over the years, including “A Night at the Roxbury”, “House on the Haunted Hill”, “Monkeybone” and many more.
We wish him a speedy recovery.
