Chris Rock has finally addressed the Will Smith Oscars fiasco during his Madison Square Garden show in New York.
Taking to the stage, alongside Kevin Hart and Dave Chapelle, the stand up comedian made a reference to the now infamous slap at the 2022 Academy Awards Show – where Will Smith walked on stage and slapped Rock after he made a joke about his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.
During his set, ET Online reported that the 57-year-old said:
‘Anyone who says words hurt has never been punched in the face,’
Hart decided to bring a real life goat on stage as a gift for Rock, stating that the animals name was Will Smith.
Hart told the audience:
‘Chris is a mentor, friend, inspiration, but he’s a large part of the reason I am where I am today in my career, just from his advice, his insight, et cetera, and he’s my GOAT,’

Hart explained on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon:
‘I told Dave, I said, “Hey man, I’m gonna gift Chris a goat at the end of the show,”‘
‘He said, “What do you mean?” I said what do you mean, what do I mean? I’m gonna go get a goat.’
Crazy…
