A newly surface clip has revealed that this year’s’ Oscars was not the first time Chris Rock has made a joke at the expense of Jada Pinkett Smith.
Will Smith very publicly slapped Chris Rock after the comedian compared Will’s Wife, Jada Pinkett Smith to G.I Jane, which was highly inappropriate and insensitive as Jada has been very open about her hair loss journey due to alopecia.
A clip from the 2016 Oscars ceremony has surfaced in light of recent events, proving this was not the first time the comedian has taken a shot at Smith’s wife:
“What happened this year? What happened? People went mad.”
“No Spike got mad. [sic] got mad and Jada went mad. Will went mad, everybody went mad.”
“You know, it’s great like Jada got mad. Jada says she’s not coming. Protesting, I’m like ‘isn’t she on a TV show?’
“Jada is gonna boycott the Oscars – Jada boycotting the Oscars is like me boycotting Rihanna’s panties.
“I wasn’t invited. Oh, that’s not an invitation I will turn down.”
