Viewers of the popular new series ‘Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story‘ think the heartbreaking episode titled ‘Silenced‘ deserves an award.
The series is a dramatization of the story of Jeffrey Dahmer, the serial killer who was convicted of the horrific killing of seventeen men and boys between 1978 and 1991. Dahmer also admitted to being a cannibal and eating the flesh of his victims.
He would drug and sexually assault his victims – even sometimes performing twisted experiments on them.
The serial killer was sentenced to 15 consecutive life sentences but was beaten to death by an inmate in 1994.
Episode six depicts the tragic death of Tony Hughes who was murdered in 1991, becoming Dahmer’s twelfth victim.
One viewer called this episode ‘one of the most heart-wrenching TV episodes of the year’.
We see Tony grow up, spending time with his family and friends and just witness what life was like for him before his brutal murder.

The Tony Hughes (1960-1991) episode is the most heartbreaking of all the episode. Being gay, black and deaf in the 90’s. Then his friend’s murder. Then he’s murdered. He was so handsome. He could of made it as a model. Rip king #DahmerNetflix pic.twitter.com/2wEmk6lYKt
