Buffalo Bills defensive back Damar Hamlin is making good progress in his recovery after collapsing on the field during a game against Cincinnati on Sunday.
Hamlin has now been able to FaceTime with his team mates for the first time since the incident.

According to the Bills, Hamlin is no longer using a breathing tube and is making good progress in his recovery.
Per the physicians at UCMC, Damar’s breathing tube was removed overnight. He continues to progress remarkably in his recovery.
His neurologic function remains intact and he has been able to talk to his family and care team.

The news of Hamlin’s continued recovery has been met with relief and joy by the Bills organization and their fans. In a statement, head coach Sean McDermott said: “We are all relieved to see Damar’s progress and he is in good spirits. He is a tough young man and we know he will continue to work hard in his recovery.”
Hamlin’s team mates also expressed their happiness at seeing him back in action. Safety Micah Hyde said: “It was great to see Damar today, he’s a warrior and it was good to see him in good spirits.”
