Damar Hamlin is Released from Hospital after Cardiac Arrest

Buffalo Bills defensive back Damar Hamlin has been released from the hospital after his cardiac arrest.

The athlete said he is “grateful” for the excellent care he received after he collapsed on the field.

He has been transferred to a hospital in Buffalo, New York to continue his recovery.

The news of Hamlin’s continued recovery has been met with relief and joy by the Bills organization and their fans. In a statement, head coach Sean McDermott said: “We are all relieved to see Damar’s progress and he is in good spirits. He is a tough young man and we know he will continue to work hard in his recovery.”

Hamlin’s team mates also expressed their happiness at seeing him back in action. Safety Micah Hyde said: “It was great to see Damar today, he’s a warrior and it was good to see him in good spirits.”
