Dana White, the President of the UFC, revealed that Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg are “completely serious” about facing off in a UFC Octagon, making it potentially the most monumental fight in history.

During an interview with Harvey and Charles, Dana disclosed that he had been in contact with both Mark and Elon on Wednesday night and continued exchanging messages with them on Thursday. According to Dana, both tech moguls are eager to step into the ring in Las Vegas.

“Talked with Mark and Elon last night, both guys are absolutely dead serious about this,” stated White. The conversation was sparked when Musk responded to reports of Zuckerberg planning to launch his own version of Twitter. Elon tweeted, “I’m up for a cage match if he is lol.”

Upon learning about Elon’s tweet, the Facebook founder chimed in with a message of his own, writing, “Send me location.”

In the world of UFC, this is code for genuine intent and seriousness. Hence, speculation began to swirl as to whether the men were merely joking, but Dana White assures us that they are not.

Considering the magnitude of the event, White believes it would easily surpass any previous fight in terms of viewership. He mentioned, “The biggest fight of all time was Floyd and Conor, I just think it triples that — it triples what that did, there’s no limit on what that thing can make.”

Dana expressed confidence in both Musk and Zuckerberg’s fighting abilities. Zuckerberg has recently participated in jiu-jitsu competitions, while Elon has a background in martial arts and claimed to have been involved in numerous fights during his upbringing in South Africa.

The Pay-Per-View cost for this epic clash would be $100 per person, surpassing the usual $80 for a UFC fight. Attending the event in person would undoubtedly come at an even higher price. Dana anticipates that the fight could generate hundreds of millions of dollars, with the proceeds going to charitable causes.
