Delivery Driver Dies after Working Seven Days a Week in Run up to Black Friday

A 49-year-old delivery driver has sadly died after working seven days a week and 14 hour days in the run up to black friday.

Warren Norton died in his vehicle while working to fulfill deliveries and orders for DPD.

He was sadly discovered bent over the wheel after working a 7-day week.

Resuscitative measures were used, CPR and a defibrillator at the DPD depot after his work day but sadly they were not enough to revive him and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

His colleagues discovered him in Kent, England and are devastated.

A source told The Sun:

‘Warren has been working all the hours under the sun recently to deliver as many parcels as he could,’

‘The managers try to coax you into working more days and longer hours because they know we’re self-employed.

‘The warehouse floor must be cleared of parcels at all costs.’
