Donald Trump has claimed that he is the ‘most honest human being, perhaps, that God ever created’ during a rally in Selma, North Carolina.
On Saturday evening the former President was met with laughter from his supporters when he stated:
“I’ve got to be the cleanest sheriff,”
“I think I’m the most honest human being, perhaps, that God ever created.”

The 75-year-old commented in reference to a story where a friend supposedly complimented him on how “clean” his administration had been, according to Newsweek.
According to Trump, the friend said:
“You know, you’ve been investigated years and years, millions and millions of pages of documents, they found nothing,”
To which the former president responded:
“I’ve been investigated by the Democrats more the Billy the Kid, Jessie James, and Al Capone combined,”
According to The Washington Post‘s fact checker database, the 45th US president made 30,573 false or misleading claims during his 4-year run as President.
