Former United States President Donald Trump launches into a bizarre rant about windmills when asked about how he thinks the situation in Ukraine will end.
Interviewed by Kyle Forgeard for the ‘Full Send’ podcast, the 75-year-old was asked:
“what do you see happening next then? it seems like tensions are high. how does this all end? is this going to be a long-term thing? How do you see it unfolding?”
The former Presidents’ disgust for windmills developed when he lost a court battle with the Scottish government. Trying and failing to stop a project for a ‘really ugly wind farm’ being built near his golf resort in Aberdeen, as reported by The New York Times.
Also claiming that housing prices will plummet ‘by 75% in value’ for those who live in the vicinity of windmill farms.
Trumps response was bizarre:
‘Well, and I said this a long time ago, if this happens, we are playing right into their hands. Green Energy. The windmills, they don’t work, they’re too expensive, they kill all the birds, they ruin your landscapes, and yet the environmentalists love the windmills.”
‘I’ve been preaching this for years. The windmills – and I had them way down – but the windmills are the most expensive energy you can have, and they don’t work. And, by the way, they last a period of 10 years and by the time that they start rusting and rotting all over the place, nobody ever takes them down. They just go onto the next piece of prairie or land and destroy that.’
Every single Republican elected official or candidate should be forced to watch this clip and then say whether or not they’d vote for Trump for president in 2024.pic.twitter.com/FBIUGEfH8T

Donald Trumps’ comments follow the 46th and current President Joe Biden’s decision to ban Russian oil imports into the US.
