Musician and actor Wilko Johnson has sadly died aged 75.

The Dr Feelgood star’s death was announced on his band’s social media pages.
The statement read:
“This is the announcement we never wanted to make, & we do so with a very heavy heart: Wilko Johnson has died.
“He passed away at home on Monday 21st November. Thank you for respecting the family’s privacy at this very sad time. RIP Wilko Johnson.”
The Game of Thrones star played Ser Ilyn Payne on the hit show in 2011.
He also made a very successful music career for himself with his punk band, Dr Feelgood who have such hits as Milk and Alcohol and Roxette.
Wilko was diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer back in 2013 and was given only 10 months to live.

After an intense operation, the artist shared with fans that he was cancer free in 2014.
