Sophia Grace Brownlee, the famous YouTuber who first gained recognition for her performance of Nicki Minaj’s “Super Bass” on The Ellen DeGeneres Show with her cousin Rosie McClelland, is now a proud mom!
The 19-year-old recently gave birth to a baby boy and shared the news with her fans on Instagram, posting an adorable photo of her newborn son’s tiny hands holding hers.
The touching image was accompanied by the date of her son’s birth, February 26, 2023, in the British format. Rosie also expressed her love for her new cousin in a sweet comment, while also reposting Sophia’s announcement on her Instagram Stories.
Ellen, who had the cousins on her show as guests multiple times, also joined in the congratulations, humorously welcoming the new addition to the world as “Nicki Minaj the 3rd!”
Sophia has yet to reveal the name of her baby boy, and has indicated that she will wait a while before sharing a full photo of him. In a YouTube video from February, she explained that she wants to take her time to feel ready to show her child’s face.
“I don’t want to show my baby’s face as first when he’s born until I feel ready to,” Sophia said. “Maybe in a couple of months after he’s born, I will feel like I’m ready.”
Sophia has also kept her relationship with her baby’s father private, although she did share news of her pregnancy and reveal the baby’s sex on her YouTube channel last year.
Sophia had a fun and memorable time celebrating her pregnancy with her closest friends at a women-only party, where they played games, ate delicious food, and enjoyed a beautiful cake.
“It was women only, which I honestly think is the best way,” Sophia shared, “It was so much fun. We done so many games and ate loads of amazing food and my cake was absolutely amazing.”
Sophia’s fans are delighted for her and eagerly await more updates about her little bundle of joy.
