Elon Musk has been accused of misogynistic behaviour by Twitter’s global Head of Partners, Lara Cohen.
On 25 April, the founder of SpaceX bought Twitter for a meager $44 billion. Twitter will no longer be a privately owned business.
Many people, including some celebs, have taken to the platform to criticize and give their thoughts on what a Musk-owned Twitter will look like.
“Free speech is the bedrock of a functioning DEMOCRACY, and Twitter is the digital town square where matters vital to the future of humanity are debated.
“I also want to make Twitter better than ever by enhancing the product with new features, making the algorithms open source to increase trust, defeating the spam bots, and authenticating all humans.
“Twitter has tremendous potential – I look forward to working with the company and the community of users to unlock it.”
Cohen has shared her anger about the billionaire’s attacks on one of Twitter’s top lawyers and chief marketing officer – who are both women.
The global head of partners tweeted:
“Color me shocked SHOCKED that people are coming for two of our prominent female executives on day 1 of this thing.”

Musk took a shot at the firm’s top lawyer, Vijaya Gadde, for restricting stories about Hunter Biden’s laptop after it was disclosed that she had cried at the news Musk had purchased the company, as reported by Politico.

In addition, Musk’s supporters leaked an audio clip of a videolink meeting on Monday, in which questions from staff asked by the Chief Marketing Officer, Leslie Berland, could be heard.
Berland tweeted:
Transparency and openness is core to who we are and I’m going to continue to give a platform for questions and feedback from employees. That is all, getting back to work ✌️
