Elon Musk has broken his silence since more than 10 million people voted for him to step down as Twitter’s CEO.

On Sunday, the billionaire tweeted asking for people to vote if he should remain as head of the company or not. He promised to abide by the results of the poll.

By the end of the day on Monday, when the poll closed, 57.5% of votes said he should step down.

He did not respond for a few hours but eventually, the billionaire tweeted in response to people suggesting that the results were not accurate due to fake accounts voting. Musk tweeted “interesting”.

Someone then suggested that “Blue subscribers should be the only ones that can vote in policy related polls”. Musk responded “Good point. Twitter will make that change.”

He then tweeted:

‘As the saying goes, be careful what you wish, as you might get it’

Wild.
