Emilia Clarke Replaces Amber Heard in ‘Aquaman 2’ in Stunning Image

Emilia Clarke has been edited into an image of Mera from Aquaman 2 and fans are obsessed.

After the controversy surrounding Amber Heard this year due to her defamation lawsuit with ex-husband Johnny Depp, a petition calling for the removal of Heard in the upcoming Aquaman 2 movie was created and surpassed 4.6 million signatures.

Fans were clearly on the lookout for a new actress to play Mera in the upcoming Aquaman sequel.

Thanks to a new piece of fan art, fans can imagine what the Game of Thrones actress would look like in the role.

Digital artist Deigo de Sousa shared his creation to Instagram, see below:

The Change.org petition was created in December 2019, months after Depp first sued Heard.

The petition description reads:

‘Amber Heard has been exposed as a domestic abuser by Johnny Depp.’

‘Since Heard’s divorce from Johnny Depp, she has systematically crusaded to ruin Depp in Hollywood, repeating multiple accounts of fake incidents in which she had actually abused Johnny Depp, but lied and created false accounts of him being the abuser.’

‘As Amber Heard is a known and proven domestic abuser, Warner Brothers and DC Entertainment should and must remove Heard from their Aquaman 2 film project.’

‘Men are victims of domestic abuse, just like women. This must be recognized, and action must be taken to prevent a known abuser from being celebrated within the entertainment industry.’

‘Do the right thing. Remove Amber Heard from Aquaman 2.’

Aquaman 2 is set for release March 2023.
