Emily Ratajkowski has defended the ‘most controversial’ dress she has ever worn.
The 31-year-old model is well known for her incredible fashion sense and daring looks but one particular black dress ended up receiving a lot of negative comments.
The new mom wore it back in 2016 to a Harper Bazaar ‘Icon Party’.
She explained on Twitter:
“It was a Julien Macdonald dress. I can remember somebody called it extremely vulgar and it became like this huge controversy on the internet and some of my agents were mad at me,”
“I know this sounds whatever, but I was in my twenties, and I just like, hadn’t registered that it was so sexy because there is a panel in the middle, but it looks like there isn’t,”

The model recently came out as bisexual on TikTok.
She stitched a video posted by another creator, saying:
“If you identify as bisexual, do you own a green velvet couch?”
To which the model pans the camera around and we can see she is sat on a green velvet couch.

In late August, news came out that the model was ‘spending a lot of time’ with Brad Pitt. It was shared that ‘Friends aren’t sure if it’s serious,’ and ‘They don’t appear to be “dating” formally.’
In September, the 31-year-old filed for divorce from her then husband of four years following allegations that he had cheated on her.
A source told People:
‘They split recently. It was Em’s decision. She is doing OK,’
‘She is strong and focused on her son. She loves being a mom.’
The pair share a one-year-old son names Sylvester.
