Emmerdale actor Sam Gannon has sadly died aged 31, his family have confirmed.
The actor was traveling in California to visit with family when he sadly passed on Tuesday.
His death is not being treated as suspicious and is currently being investigated by police, as reported by Yorkshire Post.
His sister Amy Kelly said:
“Sam was a whirlwind, a unique character to say the least.”
“He genuinely cared for others and was a very sensitive soul. It is clear from the tributes we have received that he touched the hearts of so many.’’
His friend Lewis Matthews said:
“Sam was a ‘real life Duracell bunny’ with a seemingly endless supply of energy and love.
“He delighted audiences with his charm, wit and his wonderful musical abilities.”
Gannon played Kev in Emmerdale in 2019, appearing in two episodes.
