Some people on Facebook are convinced that time travel is real after a ‘cellphone’ was spotted in a photograph from World War II.
The black-and-white photograph from the 1940s seemingly shows one man using a device that looks extremely similar to a modern day smartphone. The man even appears to be talking on the “cell”.
The photo was first posted in 2016 on an Icelandic Facebook group by Kristjan Hoffmann, who wrote:
“One thing that draws attention to this beautiful picture is in 2016 — was captioned: “One thing that draws attention to this beautiful picture is that above the window, in the corner in the middle of the picture, a man is leaning and is on a cellphone,” according to the outlet.
“I don’t know what to say, I don’t think he’s just talking on the phone… He’s in a stupor, standing alone and wearing a different headdress than the others and a scarf and acting like we would do today,”
