Fans think that Kourtney Kardashian’s pregnancy announcement to her husband, Travis Barker, was in fact ‘staged’.
The 44-year-old reality star revealed her pregnancy during her beau’s concert by holding up a sign. However, social media users are skeptical about whether the news was genuinely a surprise to the drummer.

One fan tweeted, “Kourtney Kardashian announced that she’s pregnant at the concert and in the video she shows off a baby bump? How is it that Travis didn’t know she was pregnant? Sounds staged.”

Another user added, “Kourtney Kardashian telling Travis Barker she’s pregnant with a full-on baby bump has me weak. People really think he didn’t know before the concert?”

Some fans raised suspicions due to the couple’s overtly affectionate displays, particularly their extravagant make-out sessions. “They’re too touchy-feely not to know,” wrote one doubtful person. Another agreed, saying, “Oh my God, I literally said the same thing. That man lives inside of her.”

However, some fans interpreted the pregnancy announcement as an homage to Blink-182’s 1999 music video for the song “All the Small Things.”

In the video, the band parodies boy bands like Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC. Barker is seen frolicking on the beach with a bikini-clad woman who later appears at a Blink-182 concert to announce her pregnancy to him by holding up a sign.

“The pregnancy announcement was for us. Travis knew she was pregnant; look at her. Kourtney was at a TS concert less than a month ago, and it was so obvious she was expecting,” tweeted one keen observer. Another theorized, “Unless it was just their pregnancy reveal to the public, and they already knew she was expecting. That makes more sense.”

A user chimed in, saying, “It was them referring to a video from Blink 182 where a fan in the crowd holds up a sign that says ‘Travis I’m Pregnant.'”

Kourtney Kardashian’s pregnancy comes one year after the couple’s lavish wedding in Italy.

They have openly expressed their desire to have a child together. In her Hulu show, Kardashian shared her experiences with grueling rounds of IVF and herbal remedies in an attempt to conceive.

However, in an episode of “The Kardashians” on May 25, she revealed that they were no longer pursuing those treatments. “We are officially done with IVF,” she said. “We would love a baby more than anything, but I just really believe in what God has in store for us. If that’s a baby, then I believe that it will happen.”

This will be Kardashian’s fourth child. She shares three kids—Mason, 13, Penelope, 10, and Reign, 8—with her ex-partner Scott Disick.

Barker, on the other hand, is a father to son Landon, 19, daughter Alabama, 17, and stepdaughter Atiana, 24, from his previous marriage to Shanna Moakler.
