General Hospital star Sonya Eddy has died aged just 55, it has been announced.
Eddy appeared in 543 episodes of the popular show, and the news of her passing will be crushing to her many fans.
The news was broken by Eddy’s friend Octavia Spence.
‘My friend @sonyaeddy passed away last night.
‘The world lost another creative angel. Her legions of @generalhospitalabc fans will miss her.
‘My thoughts and prayers are with her loved ones, friends, and fans!’
A cause of death has not been confirmed.
