Anna, the seat-filler who had the opportunity to sit next to Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck during the 2023 Grammy Awards, has revealed what allegedly took place between the two famous individuals. In a TikTok video, Anna claims to have been selected to keep Dwayne Johnson’s seat warm, and while doing so, she sat next to the couple.

According to Anna, J.Lo showed Ben her phone and informed him of the meme that was circulating about him during the show.

She recounts the scene, saying, “J.Lo showed Ben Affleck [her] phone and was like, ‘Oh my god, honey, look at this meme circulating about you,’ and he was like, ‘Oh god, this again.'”

It appears that Ben was already aware of his facial expressions becoming a meme and was less than thrilled about it. Despite this, Anna claims that the couple remained cute and affectionate throughout the show, and their hands were always intertwined.

According to a lip reader hired by the Daily Mail, Lopez allegedly told Affleck, “Stop. Look more friendly. Look motivated.”

However, Anna refutes this speculation and says that the couple was cute and not facing any issues. She adds, “So it wasn’t like, ‘Oh my god, this is going to lead to divorce,’ like, they were cute.”

Anna admits that she didn’t speak to Ben during the show because he “didn’t look happy.”

However, she says that their love for each other was palpable and that the meme didn’t seem to have any negative impact on their relationship.

“I didn’t know the meme of Ben Affleck being upset at award shows, like I didn’t know that was a thing,” Anna confessed. But, she adds, “I love how unbothered that is.”

The “Sad Affleck” meme is not a new phenomenon. The meme first went viral in 2016 when Ben appeared to be upset during a press junket for “Batman v. Superman.”

Nevertheless, Anna’s TikTok video provides a unique insight into the couple’s relationship and a glimpse of what went on between them during the award show.
