Romanian newspaper Gândul wrote:
“After seeing, including on social networks, that they were together in Romania, the DIICOT prosecutors mobilized the special troops of the Gendarmerie and descended, by force, on their villa in Pipera, but also on other addresses,”
The arrest came following Tate’s very public spat with climate activist Greta Thunberg after she destroyed him for bragging about his cars.

Tate responded with a terribly embarrassing two minute rant, that was dubbed ‘the most embarrassing video of all time‘.
But little did he know at the time, it would be that video that would lead to his arrest.

In the video, Tate can be seen eating a pizza. And it’s now being reported that it was the local Romanian pizza box in the video that led to police finding his whereabouts.
Following Tate’s arrest, the pizza company whose slice gave away his whereabouts has received rave reviews online.

According to the Daily Mail, prosecutors believe the alleged criminal group Tate has been linked with ‘sexually exploited at least six women’.
A spokesperson for Andrew Tate said:
“We cannot provide any details at the moment regarding alleged reports that they have been detained; however, Andrew and Tristan Tate have the utmost respect for the Romanian authorities and will always assist and help in any way they can.”
