The silver lighter featured a cowboy hat and the words, “I am so grateful that I didn’t end up with that what I thought I wanted.”
Fans quickly interpreted this as a cruel dig at Selena Gomez.
Using a birthday party to throw shade at an ex is not a healthy behavior, according to one commenter, who also said that Bieber was the real problem in all of the drama.

This incident comes after Bieber’s wife, Hailey, lost one million followers on Instagram due to alleged TikTok drama with Selena.
The two women posed for a photo together in October, leading many to believe that their long-time feud was over. However, the rivalry resurfaced when fans accused Hailey and Kylie Jenner of making fun of Selena for her laminated eyebrows in a TikTok clip in February.
Selena responded with a TikTok post, in which she said she had accidentally laminated her eyebrows too much.
Kylie then shared a photo of her own eyebrows on her Instagram Stories, claiming it was an accident. She also uploaded a screenshot from a FaceTime call she had with Hailey, where the two zoomed in on their eyebrows.
Selena and Kylie denied that this was a dig at Selena, but many of her supporters rallied behind her, and she gained an additional 10 million followers. Kylie lost half a million followers, while Hailey went down from 50.7 million to 49.7 million followers.
