The Nashville mass shooting on Monday, March 27th, 2023, shook the city to its core.

A new security video released by the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department on Monday night captured the moments when the shooter, identified as Audrey Hale, entered Covenant Church/School with assault-type rifles and a semiautomatic 9mm handgun.

The footage shows Hale parking their car, a Honda Fit, before approaching the school’s entrance and firing shots at the doors, breaking the glass windows.

The video then shows the shooter crouching to slip through one of the shot-out windows and entering the school.

Hale then roamed through the hallways wearing military fatigues and a red baseball cap turned backward.

The shooter opened several doors and entered rooms.

The video captures the lights flashing from the school’s alarm system as the shooter continued their horrific rampage.

The police confirmed that six people were killed in the incident, including three children identified as Evelyn Dieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs, and William Kinney, all aged nine years old.

Hale also fatally shot three adults in their 60s, including Cynthia Peak, a substitute teacher, Mike Hill, a custodian, and Katherine Koonce, the head of the school.

The police responded to the scene after receiving several 911 calls. When they arrived, the officers were met with gunfire from a second-floor window of the school. However, the police were not injured.

RIP to the victims of this horrendous tragedy.
