In a bold move, an influencer named Ana Stanskovsky chose to have her boyfriend’s name ‘tattooed’ across her forehead, a decision that stirred a significant online reaction.

Documenting the entire process, she shared a video of the stenciling of ‘Kevin’ on her upper forehead. Subsequently, she settled into a chair to undergo the inking.

The Instagram post displayed her visibly squirming and wincing while the needle etched into her forehead. Despite the apparent discomfort, she was evidently elated upon seeing the completed design in the mirror, flashing a wide smile.

The comments section was rife with disbelief and criticism. Many expressed skepticism and concern about the decision. One commentator speculated about the possible reaction of her next boyfriend, while another directly labeled the action as ‘stupid.’ An individual identifying as a tattoo artist outright disapproved of such a practice.

Several commenters emphatically suggested that this act would lead to eventual regret, even if the relationship were to endure.

Facing the backlash, Ana responded in a subsequent video, staunchly defending her decision. She affirmed that the opinions of others were irrelevant and that she felt passionately in love.

In her own words, Ana justified the action: “Everyone was saying to me I will regret that, and every time I’m looking in the mirror I’m just like…I’m in love. I’m in love with the tattoo, and I’m in love with my boyfriend.”

She further defended her choice as a testament of deep affection, asserting that it was an expression of love. Ana firmly suggested that the lack of a willingness to tattoo a partner’s name indicated a lack of love, declaring, “This is the way you show your love.”

Addressing concerns about a potential breakup, Ana brushed them aside, asserting that she was embracing her feelings, expressing complete satisfaction and asserting, “I’m definitely not going to regret that… how can I regret this, it’s beautiful.”

However, questions emerged regarding the authenticity of the tattoo process, with many insinuating the tattoo gun’s appearance as inauthentic. In response, Ana posted another clip, asserting the tattoo’s legitimacy, citing its healing progress, and confirming that it no longer required cling film cover.
