Jake Paul, the 26-year-old YouTuber-turned-boxer, has expressed his desire for a rematch after losing to Tommy Fury in a split decision.

Despite his defeat, Paul remained gracious and acknowledged Fury’s victory, saying, “All respect to Tommy, he won. Judge me by my wins, judge me by my losses.”

However, Paul also voiced his disagreement with the judges’ decision and hinted at his eagerness to take on Fury again, stating, “I don’t know if I agree with the judges, it is what it is but that is the boxing world. I have won in every single way already in life! I have made it further than I ever what I thought! I’ll take it on the chin but we can run it back!”

Paul also revealed that he faced several obstacles during his training, including a bad case of sickness and an injured arm. Despite these setbacks, Paul is willing to accept his loss and move forward. He stated, “Honestly I felt flat… It was just tough in this camp. But judge me by my losses. 100 percent let us run it back!”

On the other hand, Fury was overwhelmed with emotion following his victory and dedicated his win to his newborn daughter, Bambi, whom he shares with his partner Molly-Mae Hague.

He expressed his love for his daughter and said, “This fight is for you, Bambi, I love you.” Fury was also seen wearing a robe with his daughter’s name on it.

This fight between Paul and Fury had been highly anticipated for two years, with the pair originally scheduled to fight in December 2021.

However, the fight was postponed due to Fury’s injury. The rescheduled fight in August 2022 was also canceled when Fury was unable to travel to the United States.

In the end, Fury emerged victorious in a split decision after the two boxers fought for eight rounds. Despite the outcome, it is clear that both fighters have a great deal of respect for each other, and their willingness to face each other again is a testament to their sportsmanship and determination.

As the saying goes, “It’s not whether you get knocked down, it’s whether you get up.” Both Paul and Fury have shown that they are willing to get up and continue fighting, no matter the obstacles they may face. Only time will tell if a rematch between the two fighters will happen, but one thing is for sure: it will be a fight worth watching
