As reported by CNN, he is planning to give away most of his $124 billion.
After being questioned for years about what he plans to do with his obscene wealth, the 58-year-old has now shared that he plans to give most of it away during his lifetime.
Using the majority of his money to fight climate change as well as to support those who can unify humanity in the face of social and political divisions, according to the report.
When asked why he didn’t join the Giving Pledge – a promise made by the super wealthy like Bill Gates and Warren Buffet to give away cash, it seems he wants to do it on his own terms.
Bezos claims that he and his partner Lauren Sánche are ‘building the capacity to be able to give away this money.’
