US Rep Marjorie Taylor Green has reported Jimmy Kimmel to the police over his joke that Will Smith should slap her.
The 47-year-old tweeted that Kimmel’s joke – which referenced the now infamous Oscars incident where Will Smith slapped Chris Rock – was a “threat of violence.”

Kimmel made the joke about Greene on his show “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Tuesday night’s episode, after she tweeted the GOP said Lisa Murkowski, Susan Collins and Mitt Romney were “pro-pedophile” for admitting they would vote to confirm Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court.
During his show, Kimmel referred to the Georgia-born rep as a “Klan mom”, saying she was “especially upset” by her fellow Republicans’ decision to confirm Jackson.
The host said:
“Wow, where is Will Smith when you really need him?”
Let’s see what happens with this one…
