JK Rowling literally owns a castle and more money than you could ever dream of, yet she still can’t help herself tweeting controversial opinions that literally no one asked for.
The Harry Potter author’s previous tweets about trans women have caused cast members to distance themselves from the author.
Rowling’s controversial tweets provoked this response from Emma Watson last year.
Trans people are who they say they are and deserve to live their lives without being constantly questioned or told they aren’t who they say they are.

Rowling has now caused a stir again after sharing an article that says: ‘Police have been criticised for saying they will record rapes by offenders with male genitalia as being committed by a woman if the attacker ‘identifies as a female’,’
She captioned the tweet:
War is Peace. Freedom is Slavery. Ignorance is Strength. The Penised Individual Who Raped You Is a Woman.

The controversial tweet has caused huge backlash from Twitter users who were disgusted by her comment.
I'm disgusted. Checked JK Rowling's tweet incognito and mostly negative comments are on display, and the majority of the thousands of supportive comments are deboosted under 'show more'
This attempt to change the truth and create a narrative is sinister and undemocratic.

Sorry, J.K., but if a self-described trans (alleged) rapist is indeed a trans person, there’s no harm or foul here—the policy just ensures proper recordkeeping. And if the suspect *falsely* claims to be trans, that lie will be used against them at their rape trial. No issue here. https://t.co/ph0w7a1SMf

Maybe put the phone down and stick to children’s books, JK.
