Joe Biden, the President of the United States of America, handed over power to Vice President Kamala Harris for a ‘brief period of time’ whilst he underwent a colonoscopy. And it was brief indeed.
The White House Press Secretary said:
“As was the case when President George W. Bush had the same procedure in 2002 and 2007, and following the process set out in the Constitution, President Biden will transfer power to the Vice President for the brief period of time when he is under anaesthesia.
“The Vice President will work from her office in the West Wing during this time.”
She becomes the second female acting U.S. President.
President Biden will temporarily transfer power to VP Kamala Harris while he undergoes a routine colonoscopy, which means that a Woman will possess Presidential power for the first time.
We see you, President Harris.😎
